London Drum

Hotel accommodation in Borough

If you’re looking for a reasonably-priced hotel and don’t mind being on the south-side of the river then Borough, Southwark and London Bridge are a good place to start.

If we’re honest then we’d rather be in Southwark than Borough because it’s closer to the Tate Modern, Globe Theatre and attractions along the Southbank, but the Shard and Borough Market are just down the road, and it’s only a 20 minute walk from Borough station to Bank across the London Bridge, and 25 minutes to the Tower of London. You can walk to the London Eye in about half-an-hour.
