The Royal Academy of Arts will be taking a look at the colourful career of British artist Michael Craig-Martin.

After coming to prominence in the late 1960s Michael Craig-Martin became a key figure in conceptual art, moving between sculpture, installation, painting, drawing and print.

He transformed everyday objects like buckets, ladders and smartphones with his use of bold colours and simple uninflected lines.

This will be the largest-ever exhibition of his work in the UK, and will include highlights from across his remarkable career.
