Tate Modern will be exploring the friendships that made modern art with their new exhibition about The Blue Riders.

The Blue Riders were a circle of friends and close collaborators who got together in the early 20th-century to serve a single purpose: to transform modern art.

Franz Marc, Alexander Sacharoff and Marianne Werefkin, alongside more famous names like Wassily Kandinsky and Gabriele Munter, experimented with colour, sound and light to create their bold and vibrant art.

The exhibition will feature around 130 of their best paintings, sculptures and photographs - brought together in the UK for the first time in eighty years.
