Clueless is a brand-new musical based on Alicia Silverstone's coming-of-age movie from Paramount Pictures.
The classic rom-com is a modern take on Jane Austen's Emma and follows the most popular girl at Beverly Hills High - Cher Horowitz. She’s fun, fashionable, and fabulously confident in her matchmaking abilities... but has she bitten off more than she can chew with her socially awkward new friend, Tai?
After giving her a stunning makeover she tries to pair her up with the most handsome lad in school but discovers - for the very first time in her life - that not everything she does is perfect.
With original music by KT Tunstall
The score includes a mixture of big hits from the 1990s and new music by the multi-platinum singer KT Tunstall - best known for the singles Suddenly I See and Black Horse and The Cherry Tree. The lyrics were written by the Grammy Award winning writer Glenn Slater.
Based on Alicia Silverstone's cult classic movie
The original film was hailed as one of the greatest teen movies of all time and its quotable lines and youthful wit turned it into an instant cult classic. It even contributed an outfit to 1990's fashion courtesy of Cher's yellow plaid jacket.
