BAFTA Award-winning actor Dominic West (Prince Charles in TV's The Crown) will be starring in a revival of Arthur Miller's A View From The Bridge.
He'll be taking on the role of Eddie Carbone, a New York longshoreman who has been happily bringing up his orphaned niece as his own daughter.
Together they are the beating heart of their Italian-American neighbourhood, but when Beatrice falls for the charming immigrant Rodolpho the family bonds that unite them quickly begin to unravel.
Eddie's deep-seated jealousy brings his forbidden desires to the brink of exposure, threatening to destroy everything he has built and raining tragedy on their close-knit community.
One of Arthur Miller's greatest plays
Arthur Miller was one of the most influential playwrights of 20th-century, picking up a Pulitzer Prize for Death of A Salesman, plaudits for The Crucible, All My Sons and The Misfits, and even marrying the film icon Marylin Monroe.
A View From The Bridge is regarded as a timeless masterpiece that explores the themes of family bonds, personal honour, and barely repressed sexual passion.
