Jodie Whittaker (Dr Who, Broadchurch) will be returning to the West End for the first time in over a decade to star in this contemporary adaptation of The Duchess of Malfi.

The bloody revenge tragedy tells the story of a recently widowed duchess who appals her family by re-marrying beneath her class. When her brothers discover what she's done they are overcome with rage and enact a series of devastating punishments to temper her power.

But will their vicious attacks come back to haunt them?

The Duchess is a captivating and complex play that explores the power of patriarchy against a resistant female.
