Paddington Bear has always been one of London's best-loved characters, but he got an extra boost after appearing with the Queen during her Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Now Paddington fans can follow in his paw prints with this 2 1/2-hour walking tour to see some of the sites associated with Michael Bond's beloved children's books and the two Hollywood movies starring Downton Abbey's Hugh Bonneville.

It was over fifty years ago that Michael Bond first told us the story of how Paddington stowed away in a boat from Peru with nothing but his hat and battered bag and a marmalade sandwich. He was eventually found strolling around Paddington station by the kindly Mr and Mrs Brown.

The tour begins outside his statue inside the station, and after a quick look inside the Paddington souvenir shop your guide will take you on a leisurely stroll past some places you'll recognise from the movies like Windsor Gardens (the Brown's family home) and Alice's Antiques (Mr Gruber's antiques store).

Little Venice & Notting Hill

Along the way you'll visit some of the most beautiful areas of West London including the peaceful canals of Little Venice, The Beatles' old haunt of Maida Vale, and a few cosmopolitan parts of Notting Hill.

Your guide will also keep you entertained with some interesting movie-related trivia, share some secrets about how the films were made, and test your knowledge with some questions about Britain's favourite bear.

Note: The walking tour includes a short bus journey so you'll need to provide your own Oyster card, contactless card or travelcard that covers zones 1-2.
