Vaisakhi is one of the most important dates in the Sikh and Hindu calendar. It marks the start of the new lunar year and the birth of their cultural identity.

Sikhs recognise the whole human race as one – regardless of faith, background or gender - and everybody is encouraged to come and enjoy their exciting line-up of musicians, dancers and spoken word performers.

They'll also be laying on some spiritual hymns (kirtan), martial arts demonstrations (Gatka), and traditional dhol drumming.
