Your comments and questions

Geoff Do all district line trains go through to Richmond from Mile End? Thanks

Staff Hi Geoff. Not all of them. The ones that are heading towards Wimbledon or Ealing Broadway don't. The one you need will say it's heading towards Richmond.

Geoff Thanks. Is it worth getting one to either of these then getting off and waiting for the next Richmond train? Sorry it's years since I've travelled on the underground!

Staff You wouldn't save yourself any time, because you'd just be waiting for the same train that went through Mile End. You may as well just get it at Mile End.

Geoff Thankyou for clarifying that ,very helpful

Svetlana Is it allowed to bring bikes on Mile End station to use district line?

Staff Hi Svetlana. You'll be alright if your entire journey is on the district line, but if you're planning on changing to another line after that then it might not be allowed. Here is a map showing all the stations it's okay to take a bike on: content.tfl.gov.uk/cycles-on-public-transport.pdf

John How many street exits please

Staff Hi John. It's just the one shown in the picture

Mary Do you have esculators

Staff Hi Mary. No, you have to use stairs at Mile End, as described in the 'Platform stairs' section above
