From the South Side entrance to the platforms there are two lifts (or four flights of 15 and 16 steps up, and 14 and 16 steps down)
Changing tube line at Gloucester Road – You must use stairs when changing between the Circle/District line platforms and the Piccadilly line platforms
Heathrow T2&3 station exit – There’s a lift or an escalator from the platforms to the booking hall. After that there’s another lift (or escalator, or four flights of 4, 11, 11, 9 steps up) to the bus station exit. Or there’s an escalator (or two flights of 15, 14 steps up) plus a long walk and a travelator to Terminal 2. Changing tube line at Canning Town – You must use a lift when changing between the DLR/Jubilee line platforms, apart from the Stratford, Beckton and Woolwich Arsenal branches of the DLR which have a lift plus escalator

Peak and off-peak journey times
For Oyster and contactless off-peak is outside the hours of 6.30 AM-9.30 AM and 4 PM-7 PM (Mon-Fri). For travelcards it’s any time after 9.30 AM (Mon-Fri). Weekends are always classed as off-peak. Note: Between the 8th March and 31st May 2024 TFL are running a trial called ‘Off-Peak Friday Fares’, where Fridays will be classed as off-peak all day.
