Peak and off-peak times

For Oyster and contactless off-peak is outside the hours of 6.30 AM-9.30 AM and 4 PM-7 PM (Mon-Fri). For travelcards off-peak is any time after 9.30 AM (Mon-Fri). Weekends and public holidays are always classed as off-peak.

The price is based on what time your journey begins. It doesn’t matter when it ends.

Entrance – From the Aspen Way entrance to the platforms there’s a lift (or three flights of 14 steps up), plus another lift (or an escalator, or two flights of 14 and 16 steps down). From the South Side entrance to the platforms there are two lifts (or four flights of 15 and 16 steps up, and 14 and 16 steps down)

Exit – From the platforms to the Aspen Way exit there’s a lift (or three flights of 14 steps down), plus another lift (or an escalator, or two flights of 16 and 14 steps up). From the platforms to the South Side exit there are two lifts (or four flights of 16 and 14 steps down, and 16 and 15 steps up)
