Get ready for an afternoon of non-stop laughter at one of South London's premier comedy clubs - a state-of-the-art venue with a top-notch sound system and electrifying atmosphere.

Their weekly Ding Dong Gong Show is an open-mic comedy night - an hilarious high-stakes battle where only the wittiest comics will survive.

A series of wannabe comedians will step up onto the stage to deliver their funniest gags and anecdotes, trying their best to entertain the audience in a quick five minute set. But here's the twist: their fate will lie entirely in your hands!

Three audience members will be presented with a special 'Dong of Power', and if three disapproving dongs go up in the air then the comedian will get turfed off the stage. (It's a bit like Britain's Got Talent, but with dongs instead of buzzers.)

The atmosphere is super light-hearted but it's also very interactive. If you'd rather the comedians don't talk to you then they recommend sitting further back, or holding an A3 piece of paper that says "Please do not talk to me".

If you fancy yourself as a bit of a comedy genius then you can apply for a stand-up spot on their website. If you're accepted then you'll normally receive a confirmation email 2-3 weeks before the show. If you miss out then you can still turn up on the day and drop your name into the bucket. About 60% of these names will be drawn out, so make sure you're ready for your set!
