Middlesex play their games at the Lord's - the world famous 'Home of Cricket'. It has a capacity of 31,100 and is noted for its Grade II-listed Pavilion and futuristic-looking Media Centre.

Middlesex have won 13 County Championship titles in total, but their last one was back in 2016. They are going through a bit of a lean spell at the moment, having been demoted down to Division Two in 2023.

Middlesex's big domestic rivalry is with Surrey, who play their games across the other side of London at the Oval. If you want to attend a match with the biggest crowd and liveliest atmosphere then try and make it Middlesex v Surrey. (Unfortunately they won't be playing each other this year because Middlesex are in Division Two.) Historicially Surrey have the edge in county cricket, but if you include One Day and Twenty20 then the two teams are generally well-matched.

There are 10 teams in Division One and 8 in Division Two. Teams are awarded 16 points for a win and 8 points for a draw. Teams can also earn some bonus points during the first 110 overs of their first innings, based on the number of runs scored and wickets taken.
