Lionel Bart’s much-loved musical is back in the West End for a strictly-limited run.
47 years after his first London production, and 30 years after his second, Cameron Mackintosh's new take on Charles Dickens' classic tale tells the story of a young orphan boy born into poverty, who escapes the harsh conditions of the Victorian workhouse only to fall in with the villainous Fagan and his gang of pickpockets.
With a cast of colourful characters like the Artful Dodger, Bill Sikes, Mr Bumble and the kind-hearted Nancy, the show contains many memorable scenes including Oliver's iconic 'Please sir, can I have some more?' and Nancy's tragic end on London Bridge.
Lionel Bart's classic score
Lionel Bart's score contains some of musical theatre's best-loved tunes including Food Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, You've Got to Pick-a-Pocket Or Two, I'd Do Anything and As Long As He Needs Me.

When the show originally opened in 1963 it picked up ten Tony Award nominations (including Best Musical), three wins (including Best Original Score), eight Olivier nominations, plus six Academy Awards for its 1968 film adaptation starring Ron Moody (including Best Picture).
