The Tower of London will be dressing up for Christmas with some special displays that reveal how kings and queens celebrated the season in years gone by.
As you roam around the towers and grounds you'll see a lavish medieval feast laid on by Edward I, witness some festive entertainment in the Tudor court of Henry VIII, and learn about the Frost Fairs that were once held on the frozen river outside the walls.
You might be surprised to discover that a lot of the Royal celebrations were not so different from our own today!
27th to 31st Dec - The Spirit of Christmas
If you visit in the week after Christmas then you'll be able to experience some of the sights and sounds of a Victorian Christmas.
There'll be music from the Southwark Waits Musicians, a giant game of pass-the-parcel to help the Tower postman deliver a last-minute gift, and a magical performance of the poem A Visit From St. Nicholas that helped to popularise the figure of Father Christmas in Victorian times.
