Your comments and questions

Lori BB My kids want to do the 'train through London buildings' thing. This is DLR right? If we come into Waterloo and need to get to Tower Gateway for the Medieval dinner thing, will this take us on the funky overground DLR? What is the route - please help, I am trying to be 'London funky mum' - thanks, Lori x

Staff Unfortunately the DLR starts at Tower Gateway and goes east, so you can only get the normal underground from Waterloo. If you want to go 'through the buildings' you really need to ride it all the way out to Canary Wharf. Canary Wharf is where it goes through the middle of the skyscrapers into a futuristic-looking station

Martha May I buy an Oyster card at Tower Gateway station?

Staff Hi Martha. You can top them up on the ticket machines, but you can't buy new ones. But there's a newsagent practically nextdoor which sells them. Here's a map (the newsagent is the little blue oyster symbol) - tfl.gov.uk/maps/oyster-ticket-stops?Input=Hammett+Street%2C+London%2C+UK&InputGeolocation=51.510528564453125%2C-0.07518009841442108

Staff Hi Rob. if you look at the comment above yours theres a link to where you can buy one

Rachel Rc How do you get from tower gateway to black heath using DLR please

Staff Hi Rachel. You can get the DLR to lewisham but then you'd have to change on to a national rail train for blackheath
