Glide is one of London's most spectacular open-air ice rinks, set in the shadow of the Battersea Power Station.

Most of the rinks in London are just a plain rectangle, but this one is has three different rinks all linked together around a huge 30-foot Christmas tree, giving skaters of every skill level the time and space they need to enjoy themselves.

You'll also be able to enjoy some vintage fairground rides like a giant Carousel with 30 painted horses, a traditional Helter Skelter ride, and classic fairground games like Tin Can Alley.

Penguin skate aids will be available to hire for kids who are unsure of themselves on the ice, but bear in mind that they're provided on a first-come, first served basis, and cannot be booked in advance.

Live DJs from KISS Radio

This year Glide will be partnering with KISS Radio to provide a packed schedule of sets inside The Glass House on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, performed by KISS DJs Matchstick, Justin Wilkes, Davda, Wideboys, Esi, Ace, AJ King and Jake Thompson.

There will also be a few acoustic sets by hand-picked artists on Friday and Saturday.

The Glass House, Bars & Restaurants

When you're ready for a break you can warm up with a hot chocolate in The Glass House. This decorated bar has a great view of the Power Station and big windows so you can watch the skaters gliding around the ice.

There are plenty more bars and restaurants inside the Power Station itself - like Le Bab, Poke House, Clean Kitchen Club, Paris Baguette and Joe & The Juice. You'll find even more places to eat and drink in the Circus West Village - Battersea Brewery, Tapas Brindisa, Wright Brothers, Megan’s, Francesco Mazzei's Fiume and Chef Vivek Singh’s Cinnamon Kitchen.
