The filming locations are spread across several beautiful English counties, including Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, and over the years DCI John and Tom Barnaby have investigated more than 250 suspicious deaths in them.
The tour includes locations from 20 different episodes, including one that was also used in The Vicar of Dibley.
