Why not spend a day of your holiday away from the hustle and bustle of London and swap it for the slow pace and rural beauty of the Cotswolds?

This full-day trip with a 2-course lunch will begin with an air-conditioned coach journey to the rolling countryside of the Cotswolds, famous for its lush pastures and stone-built villages.

As you travel along a guide will be sharing some interesting information about the region's history.

You'll be given time to stroll around the pretty little villages of Burford (1 hour) and Bibury (30 mins) to soak up the scenery, before enjoying a traditional English lunch at an old 17th-century Cotswolds hotel, decorated with oak beams and a stone fireplace and overlooking the picturesque River Coln.

After that you'll have a leisurely drive through some charming villages until you reach Bourton-on-the-Water - one of the most prettiest parts of the northern Cotswolds (1 hour).

Then you'll head for the old market town of Stow-on-the-Wold which is located on top of an 800-foot (244 metre) hill, where you'll have time to shop, and maybe enjoy a cup of English tea (1 hour 15 mins).
