Peak and off-peak times
For Oyster and contactless off-peak is outside the hours of 6.30 AM-9.30 AM and 4 PM-7 PM (Mon-Fri). For travelcards off-peak is any time after 9.30 AM (Mon-Fri). Weekends and public holidays are always classed as off-peak.
The price is based on what time your journey begins. It doesn’t matter when it ends.
Stairs, lifts and escalators
Pimlico is not wheelchair accessible
Entrance – You must use stairs between the entrances and the booking hall (9 steps down from the Bessborough Street entrance, and 18 steps down +16 steps down from the Rampayne Street entrance). After that there’s an escalator or seven flights of stairs down to the platforms (3 steps down +4x17 steps down +16 steps down +3 steps down)
Exit – There’s an escalator or seven flights of stairs from the platforms to the booking hall (3 steps up +16 steps up +4x17 steps up +3 steps up). After that you must use stairs from the booking hall to the exits (9 steps up to the Bessborough Street exit, and 16 steps up +18 steps up to the Rampayne Street exit)
