Your comments and questions
EA Hi, just a quick question! would this be the closest underground station to the central city road travelodge hotel? Thanks
Staff Hi EA, that's correct yes. It's only about 450 yards away
Scott Is one of the exits to the street still closed? The one on the south side of Old Street, going east?
Staff Hi Scott. We know one of the entrances is shut during weekday mornings "until august 2021" because of the road works. But there's no exact date when it will reopen. One of the staircases onto a City Road exit has also been out of use since the pandemic started, to ease the flow of people walking out. But there's no information about when that will reopen.
Caroline Regarding the escalator is it one long one or two shorter ones?
Sara Are there lifts for wheelchair passengers
Staff Hi Sara. No, its just stairs and escalators as described in the ‘platform stairs’ section above
Andrea Hi… Do you know the earliest train from old street to Charing Cross 6th May please?
Staff Hi Andrea. Here’s the timetable - londondrum.com/transport/train-journey.php?from=old-street&to=charing-cross
