Your comments and questions
Silvia M Train from St Pancras International to Angel Station which is close to my hotel Jury's Inn. I wiill be arriving around 2:30 at St Pancras train station. How do I get from St. Pancras station to Angel station tube? Thanks
Staff You could just walk it, it's not very far. If you get the tube then its just one stop from King's Cross on the northern line.
Elizabeth King's Cross St. Pancras train station, I need to get from St Pancras train station to Guys Hospital. I think I need to get the tube at St Pancras train station and get on the Northern Line to London Bridge underground Station. Is this right?
Staff Hi, that's right, it's just the northern line to London Bridge. Guy's Hospital is a very short walk from there
Drummond I arrive at Euston Station & need to get to London St Pancras Intl on a Saturday morning to get the Southeastern train to Gillingham in Kent. What tube do I get to St Pancras Intl?
Staff It's one stop on the Victoria line. Personally I would just walk it - you just go straight down the Euston Road. It's probably a little bit quicker than walking to and from the platforms and waiting for the train. But maybe you've got a load of luggage with you
Chris Watson What time is the morning rush hour from Kings Cross to Heathrow
Staff Hi. Peak time is classed as 6.30 AM to 9.30 AM in the morning, and 4 PM to 7 PM in the evening (Mon-Fri only)
Kerry Hi, I would like to know what tube to get from St Pancras to Richmond Park? (we will be getting the train from Nottingham to St Pancras)
Staff Hi Kerry. If it was me I would get the Piccadilly line to Earl's Court, and then change to the District line for Richmond. Richmond Park is about a 20-minute walk from the station, or you can catch the 65 bus
Kenneth Can I buy a single bus ticket at kings cross to Waterloo
Staff Hi Kenneth. You can't buy single bus tickets these days. You can't pay by cash either. You need to get hold of a travelcard beforehand, or use an Oyster card or contactless bank card. Then you just touch them down on the reader by the door.
DBN Which line do I need on the underground from Kings Cross to Liverpool Street please
Staff Hi DBN. You have a choice of three... the Circle line, Metropolitan line or Hammersmith & City line. There's no difference between them, they all go Liverpool Street.
LucyP What is considered off peak
Staff Hi LucyP. For Oyster and contactless cards off-peak travel is outside the hours of 6.30 to 9.30 AM, and 4 to 7 PM (Mon-Fri). For travelcards it's after 9.30 AM (Mon -Fri) and all day Sat-Sun
Elspeth At King's Cross can I buy a tube ticket from a human being?
Staff Hi Elspeth. You can in the National Rail part upstairs, but TFL have removed all the manned windows from the underground stations now. If you go down there then you'll have to use a self-service machine
Bjoern I will reach KingĀ“s Cross station on Eurostar and leave 45 minutes later from Marylebone to Oxford. Is it possible?
Staff Hi Bjoern. It might just be possible if you have no hold-ups whatsoever. If you catch the tube from King's Cross to Baker Street, and then walk 10 mins to Marylebone (which is probably the quickest way of doing it) then that's about 30 minutes minimum, including all the walking between platforms. But then you've got to get out of the Eurostar as well. It's very, very tight! If it was me I would try and change my train time
Teodora Hi, is there a step free access between Metropolitan line and Victoria line at King's Cross? What is the way of changing the lines there with a buggy?
Staff Hi Teodora. You can use lifts when changing platforms at King's Cross.
Terence Do metropolitan line trains uxbridge stop at st Pancras station
Staff Hi Terence. They stop at Kings Cross, which is literally right next door to St Pancras
dd What is the process to get from Piccadilly line to LNER train station at kings cross? Steps or lift?
Staff Hi DD. You can get a lift. Of if you don't want to get the lift then there's an escalator as well
Robin Cornish I'm coming into St Pancras HS1 platform, probably pl.11 from Ashford Intl. On Saturday. What is the quickest /most direct route down to the Metropolitan line (West) please. I am fit and able with no disabilities. Is it straight down the stairs into the underpass from the bottom of the escalator which comes down to ground level from the HS1 platforms, or do I go outside when at ground level to the concourse Underground entrance. Or is it some other route entirely. I can never navigate myself around St Pancras /Kings Cross!
Robin Cornish Thanks for your delay in replying to my question. It gave me opportunity to search and find a great 3-d picture that answers my question and more about how to navigate the Kings Cross /St Pancras overground and underground stations. tomhalltravel.files.wordpress.com/2009/12/king-cross-upgrade-map2.gif
Joy We'll be coming from Earls Court on the underground to St Pancras and then need to catch a train to Elstree/Borehamwood. Where do we go to when we leave the underground station to catch the train? Thank you
Staff Hi Joy. Trains to Elstree & Borehamwood leave from St Pancras, so once you've come up from the underground section into the main hall you'll have to leave King's Cross station and walk over to St Pancras, which is literally next-door to King's Cross (two minute walk). if you look at the photo of the station on this page then it's just out of shot to the left
Carol Can I get from northern line platform to Eurostar without using any stairs
