Peak and off-peak journey times
For Oyster and contactless off-peak is outside the hours of 6.30 AM-9.30 AM and 4 PM-7 PM (Mon-Fri). For travelcards off-peak is any time after 9.30 AM (Mon-Fri). Weekends and public holidays are always classed as off-peak. Note: Between the 8th March and 31st May 2024 TFL are running a trial called ‘Off-Peak Friday Fares’, where Fridays will be classed as off-peak all day.
The train fare is based on what time your journey begins. It doesn’t matter what time your journey ends.

Station entrance – There’s a lift between the entrance and the westbound platform. If you want to avoid the lift then you can use four flights of stairs instead (9 steps down +15 steps down +4 steps down +18 steps down from the Euston Road northside entrance, or 13 steps down +15 steps down +4 steps down 18 steps down from the Gower Street entrance). But you must use four flights of stairs between the entrance and the eastbound platform (9 steps down +15 steps down +16 steps down +5 steps down from the Euston Road northside entrance, or 13 steps down +15 steps down +16 steps down 5 steps down from the Gower Street entrance)
Station exit – There’s a lift between the westbound platform and the exit. If you want to avoid the lift then you can use four flights of stairs instead (18 steps up +4 steps up +15 steps up +9 steps up to the Euston Road northside exit, or 18 steps up +4 steps up +15 steps up 13 steps up to the Gower Street exit). Ranj Where do I go if I want to walk to euston station?
Staff Hi Ranj. Just come out of Euston Square station and turn left down the Euston Road. It's only a short walk, you cant miss it.
