Stairs, lifts and escalators
Richmond has step-free access from the street to the platform (but there may be a step up or gap to the train). St. John’s Wood is not wheelchair accessible
Richmond entrance – You must use two flights of stairs between the Church Street/car park entrance and the booking hall (9 steps up +15 steps up), but it’s level from the Kew Road entrance. After that you need to use a lift to the platforms, or two flights of stairs (15 steps down +9 steps down to the District line and National Rail eastbound platforms, and 2x12 steps down to the National Rail westbound platform)
Changing trains at Westminster – There are two lifts when changing between the Circle/District and Jubilee eastbound line platforms (or two escalators and 2x14 stairs), or three lifts when changing between the Circle/District and Jubilee westbound line platforms (or three escalators and 2x14 stairs)
St. John’s Wood exit – There’s an escalator between the platforms and the exit, or seven flights of stairs (12 steps up +5x17 steps up +3 steps up). There’s no lift

Stairs, lifts and escalators
St. John’s Wood has step-free access from the street to the platform (but there may be a step up or gap to the train). Richmond is not wheelchair accessible
St. John’s Wood entrance – There’s an escalator between the entrance and the platforms, or seven flights of stairs (3 steps down +5x17 steps down +12 steps down). There’s no lift
Changing trains at Westminster – There are two lifts when changing between the Circle/District and Jubilee eastbound line platforms (or two escalators and 2x14 stairs), or three lifts when changing between the Circle/District and Jubilee westbound line platforms (or three escalators and 2x14 stairs)
Richmond exit – There’s a lift from the platforms to the booking hall, or two flights of stairs (9 steps up +15 steps up from the District line and National Rail eastbound platforms, and 2x12 steps up from the National Rail westbound platform). After that you must use two flights of stairs between the booking hall and the Church Street/car park exit (15 steps down +9 steps down), but it’s level to the Kew Road exit
Cash, Contactless, Oyster & Travelcard fares
The journey is in zones 1-4. The cheapest fare is £3.40 off-peak (£4.60 peak) when you pay by Oyster or contactless. There are no return tickets, you just pay the same as two singles

Peak and off-peak times
For Oyster and contactless off-peak is outside the hours of 6.30 AM-9.30 AM and 4 PM-7 PM (Mon-Fri). For travelcards it’s any time after 9.30 AM (Mon-Fri). Weekends are always classed as off-peak.
The fare is based on what time your journey begins. It doesn’t matter when it ends.
