Stairs, lifts and escalators

Pimlico is not wheelchair accessible

South Quay is wheelchair accessible, and has step-free access from the street to the train

Pimlico entrance – You must use stairs between the entrances and the booking hall (9 steps down from the Bessborough Street entrance, and 18 steps down +16 steps down from the Rampayne Street entrance). After that there’s an escalator or seven flights of stairs down to the platforms (3 steps down +4x17 steps down +16 steps down +3 steps down)

Changing trains at Green Park – There are two lifts and a long walk when changing platforms. If you want a shorter walk then you can use two escalators instead of the lifts

Changing trains at Canary Wharf – You must use an escalator, a lift, and walk 200 metres outside to change between the DLR and Jubilee platforms

South Quay exit – There’s a lift between the platforms and the exit. If you want to avoid the lift then you can use four flights of stairs (2x16 steps down +6 steps down +16 steps down)

For Oyster and contactless off-peak is outside the hours of 6.30 AM-9.30 AM and 4 PM-7 PM (Mon-Fri). For travelcards it’s any time after 9.30 AM (Mon-Fri). Weekends are always classed as off-peak.

The fare is based on what time your journey begins. It doesn’t matter when it ends.
