Monument entrance[1] To get to the booking hall from the Poultry/​Mansion House Street entrances you must use two flights of stairs (16 steps down +4 steps down), or two flights from the Threadneedle Street northside entrance (9 steps down +11 steps down), or one flight from the Threadneedle Street southside/​Cornhill northside entrances (19 steps down), or two flights from the Cornhill southside entrance (16 steps down +6 steps down), or one flight from the Mansion House Place/​Queen Victoria Street northside entrances (20 steps down), or one flight from the Queen Victoria Street southside entrance (18 steps down). After that you must use an escalator down to the Central line platforms, or two escalators plus two flights of stairs to the Circle/​District line platforms (15 steps up +14 steps up), or three escalators plus five flights of stairs to the DLR platforms (12 steps up +11 steps up +10 steps up +2x12 steps down), or an escalator plus four flights of stairs to the Northern line platforms (16 steps down +8 steps down +13 steps down +21 steps down), or a long ramp down plus a long travelator to the Waterloo & City line platforms.
