Royal Albert is wheelchair accessible, and has step-free access from the street to the train

Mile End entrance – You must use two flights of stairs between the entrance and the booking hall (7 steps down +15 steps down). After that you must use another two flights of stairs to the platforms (4 steps down +19 steps down to the eastbound, and 12 steps down +11 steps down to the westbound platform)

Changing trains at West Ham – There’s are two lifts when changing between the DLR/​Jubilee/​H&C line platforms

Changing trains at Canning Town – You must use a lift when changing between the DLR/​Jubilee line platforms, apart from the Stratford, Beckton and Woolwich Arsenal branches of the DLR which have a lift plus escalator

Royal Albert exit – There’s a lift between the platforms and the exit. If you want to avoid the lift then you can use three flights of stairs (5 steps up + 2x16 steps up)
