If you want to avoid the lift then you can use one flight of stairs from the Circle/​District westbound platform (24 steps up), or two flights from the Circle/​District eastbound platform (7 steps up +16 steps up), or one escalator and one flight of 4 steps from the Victoria line platforms. After that there’s another lift to the exit.
