Euston Square station entrance – There’s a lift between the entrance and the westbound platform. If you want to avoid the lift then you can use four flights of stairs instead (9 steps down +15 steps down +4 steps down +18 steps down from the Euston Road northside entrance, or 13 steps down +15 steps down +4 steps down 18 steps down from the Gower Street entrance). But you must use four flights of stairs between the entrance and the eastbound platform (9 steps down +15 steps down +16 steps down +5 steps down from the Euston Road northside entrance, or 13 steps down +15 steps down +16 steps down 5 steps down from the Gower Street entrance)
Changing tube line at Moorgate – You must use an escalator when changing between the Circle/Metropolitan/H&C eastbound platforms and the Northern line. You must use stairs for all other platform changes
Changing tube line at Bank – Changing between the Central and DLR platforms involves a lift plus escalator. Changing between the W&C line and any other platform involves a lift, an escalator plus a long travelator. You must use stairs when changing trains from the Northern line to any other platform

Peak and off-peak journey times
For Oyster and contactless off-peak is outside the hours of 6.30 AM-9.30 AM and 4 PM-7 PM (Mon-Fri). For travelcards it’s any time after 9.30 AM (Mon-Fri). Weekends are always classed as off-peak. Note: Between the 8th March and 31st May 2024 TFL are running a trial called ‘Off-Peak Friday Fares’, where Fridays will be classed as off-peak all day.
The fare is based on what time your journey begins. It doesn’t matter what time your journey ends.
