Chancery Lane is not wheelchair accessible. Mansion House is not wheelchair accessible
Chancery Lane entrance – You must two flights of stairs from the entrance to the booking hall (16 steps down +6 steps down from the Holborn southside and Chancery Lane entrances, or 16 steps down +10 steps down from the Gray’s Inn Road westside entrance, or 19 steps down +6 steps down from the Gray’s Inn Road eastside entrance). After that you must use an escalator down to the eastbound platform, or two escaltors down to the westbound platform
Changing trains at Liverpool Street – You can use a lift or escalator when changing between the Central line and National Rail platforms, or the Central line and the H&C eastbound platform. You can use a lift when changing between the H&C eastbound and National Rail platforms. But you must use stairs for all other platform changes
Mansion House exit – You must two flights of stairs from the westbound platform to the booking hall (17 steps up +6 steps up), or three flights from the eastbound platform (12 steps up +11 steps up +21 steps up). Mansion House is not wheelchair accessible. Chancery Lane is not wheelchair accessible
Mansion House entrance – You must use two flights of stairs from the Garlick Hill entrance and the booking hall (9 steps down +15 steps down), or two flights from the Queen Victoria Street westside entrance (9 steps down +15 steps down), or two flights from the Queen Victoria Street/Cannon Street northside entrance (20 steps down +4 steps down), or three flights from the Queen Victoria Street/Cannon Street southside entrance (7 steps down +12 steps down +4 steps down), or three flights from the Bow Lane entrance (13 steps down +12 steps down +4 steps down). After that you must two flights of stairs down to the westbound platform (6 steps down +17 steps down), or three flights to the eastbound platform (21 steps down +11 steps down +12 steps down)
Monument exit – [1] You must use an escalator from the Central line platforms to the booking hall, or two escalators plus two flights of stairs from the Circle/District line platforms (14 steps down +15 steps down), or three escalators plus five flights of stairs from the DLR platforms (2x12 steps up +10 steps down +11 steps down +12 steps down), or an escalator plus four flights of stairs from the Northern line platforms (21 steps up +13 steps up +8 steps up +16 steps up), or a long ramp plus a long travelator from the Waterloo & City line platforms. Peak and off-peak times
For Oyster and contactless off-peak is outside the hours of 6.30 AM-9.30 AM and 4 PM-7 PM (Mon-Fri). For travelcards it’s any time after 9.30 AM (Mon-Fri). Weekends are always classed as off-peak.
The fare is based on what time your journey begins. It doesn’t matter when it ends.
