Changing trains at Bank – Changing between the Central and DLR platforms involves a lift plus escalator. Changing between the W&C line and any other platform involves a lift, an escalator plus a long travelator. You must use stairs when changing trains from the Northern line to any other platform
Changing trains at Moorgate – You must use an escalator when changing between the Circle/Metropolitan/H&C eastbound platforms and the Northern line. You must use stairs for all other platform changes
Barbican exit – You must use two flights of stairs from the platforms to the booking hall (14 steps up +15 steps up from the eastbound platform, and 2x14 steps up from the westbound platform), plus another two flights of stairs between the booking hall and the exit (12 steps up +11 steps up)

The fare is based on what time your journey begins. It doesn’t matter when it ends.
