Royal Victoria is wheelchair accessible, and has step-free access from the street to the train

Barbican entrance – You must use two flights of stairs between the entrance and the booking hall (11 steps down +12 steps down), plus another two flights of stairs from the booking hall to the platforms (15 steps down +14 steps down to the eastbound platform, and 2x14 steps down to the westbound platform)

Changing trains at Liverpool Street – You can use a lift or escalator when changing between the Central line and National Rail platforms, or the Central line and the H&C eastbound platform. You can use a lift when changing between the H&C eastbound and National Rail platforms. But you must use stairs for all other platform changes

Changing trains at Stratford – You must use an escalator when changing between the DLR and Jubilee lines, but you can use a lift for all other platform changes

Royal Victoria exit – There are two lifts between the platform and the exit. If you want to avoid the lifts then you can get four flights of stairs from the eastbound platform (2x16 steps down +14 steps up +16 steps up), or five flights of stairs from the westbound platform (2x16 steps down +8 steps up +2x16 steps up)

  2. Leave train at Tower Gateway and walk 3 mins to Tower Hill

For Oyster and contactless off-peak is outside the hours of 6.30 AM-9.30 AM and 4 PM-7 PM (Mon-Fri). For travelcards it’s any time after 9.30 AM (Mon-Fri). Weekends are always classed as off-peak.

The fare is based on what time your journey begins. It doesn’t matter when it ends.
