For two weekends before Christmas the Festive Fayre at Henry VIII's Hampton Court Palace will transport you to a food lover's winter wonderland!
The palace will once again be filling the interior courtyards with seasonal stalls selling everything from sweet puddings and sausages to delicious brownies and hot chocolate drinks.
Over 100 artisan producers
Stalls selling mulled wine and mince pies will delight even the choosiest of foodies, and with over 100 hand-picked artisan producers on site you’ll be sure to find the perfect gift for even the fussiest of loved ones.
Highlights include some smooth brandy liqueurs from Caru Spirits, delicious jars of jam, marmalade, chutney and pickle from Delicious Dauntsey, handwoven Caribbean gifts from Gifts by Rubi-Adi, a wonderful range of fudge flavours from Orcadia Fudge Company, and some exquisite works of embroidered art from Robert Bakama Embroidery.
Christmas carols in the Chapel Royal
If you visit on Saturday 7th December then you can make your day even more Christmassy by joining Hampton Court's choristers for one of the family-friendly services in the Chapel Royal (11 AM, 1 PM and 3 PM) - once used by Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn.
Upgrade to a VIP package
Why not add an extra bit of sparkle to your day by upgrading your ticket to a VIP package? You'll get exclusive access to a VIP lounge with beer, wine and prosecco (from 12 noon to 5 PM) plus tea, coffee, soft drinks and a complimentary goody bag to take home.
Hampton Court Palace ice rink
While you're there you might like to buy a ticket for the Hampton Court Palace ice rink (22nd Nov to 5th Jan). It's positioned on the long drive that runs up to the front of the palace, so you'll get a great view of the front facade as you glide gracefully around the ice.
After it's over you can treat yourself to some festive refreshments in The Admirable Crichton cafe outside, selling all kinds of sweet and savoury treats.
