Batman Unmasked – Movie props, costumes and comics

This event has already passed

DC Comics will be celebrating the 85th anniversary of its superhero Batman with a never-before-seen collection of original props, costumes and vehicles from the movies.

Batman Unmasked will take you on a journey through 9 Gotham City-themed rooms and 33 years of cinema history, from Tim Burton's Batman and Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy, right up to Robert Pattinson's reboot in 2022.

Batman suits and super-villian costumes

The exhibition will begin in Bruce Wayne's Manor Library before sending you to his hideout in the Batcave basement.

Batman Heroes will explore the history of Gotham's greatest crime-fighting detective, whilst Joker's Room and Arkham Maze will delve into the madness of its most notorious villains in a Rogues' Gallery of hoodlums and hooligans.

You'll see the actual batsuits worn by Michael Keaton, Christian Bale and Robert Pattinson, as well as Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn costume, Uma Thurman's Poison Ivy outfit, Arnold Schwarzenegger's Mr Freeze suit, Jim Carrey's Riddler ensemble, and Heath Ledger's nurse disguise from his Oscar-winning role as the Joker.

See the Batmobile and Batpod!

The highlight of the exhibition will be stepping inside the Vehicle Bunker to see the iconic Batmobile from The Batman and Christain Bale's Batpod from The Dark Knight Trilogy.

The exhibition will come to an end with Interactive Space - a room devoted to classic comic books, console games, and a Scalextric track where you can compete with your friends... or foes.
