The Science Museum will be putting on a free exhibition that tells the story of how scientists around the world managed to combat the global pandemic by developing a Covid-19 vaccine at incredible speed.
By using a variety of different artworks, objects and interactive displays, the exhibition will examine the structure of the virus itself, identify the incredible challenges that the scientists faced, and recognise the huge amount of work done quietly behind the scenes by researchers and volunteers.
Most importantly, this inspiring new exhibition will show how the world's scientific community managed to come together and collaborate to find solutions that saved lives.
