Battersea Power Station has been a prominent part of the London skyline since the 1930s, and its iconic white chimneys have appeared as a backdrop to countless movies, music videos and album covers -- most famously on Pink Floyd's Animals.
In the 1980s it languished as a brownfield industrial site, but now it has been reborn with a thrilling new viewing experience at the top of the north-west chimney, offering a stunning 360-degree view of the skyline.
Your journey will begin with a multimedia and touchscreen exhibition about the building's architecture, history and heritage, housed inside the beautiful art deco Turbine Hall. You will then enter the Infinity Room and see energy particles swirling all around you as a dramatic countdown begins...
An express elevator will then whizz you to the top of one of the chimneys, with constellations of light guiding you as you go, until you step out onto a panoramic viewing platform 109 metres above the river.
Once you've returned back down to earth you might like to explore the power stations's new surroundings, which have been totally transformed into a beautiful neighbourhood of shops, bars, restaurants, green spaces and playgrounds.
