Sherlock Holmes has been entertaining readers for over 130 years, and this 2-hour tour will take you to some of the London locations associated with the world's greatest fictional detective.
Starting outside the Granaio Restaurant in Piccadilly Circus and continuing on to Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square and the Strand, your guide will pick out all the grand hotels, Victorian pubs and gentleman's clubs mentioned in the books and movies, along with some places frequented by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
You'll see the the Criterion Restaurant where Sherlock first met Dr Watson in A Study in Scarlet, the Royal Academy which appeared in the movie Murder by Decree, and visit the location of the fictional Diogenes Club (known for its strict no-talking rule).
You'll also stop outside Somerset House - aka Pentonville Prison in the BBC's Sherlock series - and hear some tales about the notorious Lord Blackwood who was imprisoned there.
Other Sherlock stories featured in the tour include The Hound Of the Baskervilles, The Illustrious Client, The Bruce Partington Plans, A Scandal In Bohemia and The Sign Of Four.
Along the way your guide will share lots of interesting information about the books, and gossip from Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman's TV series and Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes movie starring Robert Downey Jr.
