London's Irish community will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day with a big parade and festival of Irish arts, culture, food and music in Trafalgar Square.
Parade from Hyde Park to Whitehall
More than 50,000 people are expected to attend the parade which will set out from Hyde Park Corner at 12 noon and travel down Piccadilly to St. James's Street, then pass along Pall Mall and Cockspur Street into Whitehall.
The lively and colourful parade will have marching bands, dressed-up dancing troupes, decorated floats, a Dublin Garda band, and maybe a few famous faces from Irish TV.
Entertainment stage in Trafalgar Square
A large stage at the base of Nelson's Column will feature a line-up of Irish musicians, comedians and dancers, youth performers, and a rousing sing-along finale with the London Irish Community Voices Choir.
There will also be plenty of food and drink stalls dotted around Trafalgar Square and a few children's activities like face painting and medal-making.
