Your comments and questions
Lillie Hi, I am planning a trip to explore the sights with my husband, 9 year old, and OAP mother-in-law. I had planned on getting day travelcards on the day. I know I can pre-order them on the website but they don't have the off peak zone 1-4 cards available and would rather not pay the postage charge! My question is - is there a ticket machine at this station? I am assuming there is, but the mother-in-law is a worrier and has never travelled by tube before - this is just one more thing for her to fret about!
Staff Hi Lillie. There is a self-service machine, yes. So you should be alright. But it will probably be easier to just use your contactless bank cards. Then you won't need a ticket at all. The most you'll pay is the 'daily cap', which is cheaper than a 1-day travelcard. But you'll each need your own card, though. Your 9-year old will travel for free on the tube.
Lillie Thanks for your quick reply
Heena Hi as I am travelling with my husband and 6 years old twins next week from Park Royal which underground I need to catch for central London please and how do I get tickets for travelling thank you
Staff Hi Heena. Its probably easier to walk to Hangar Lane and catch the train from there. Its only a 10-minute walk from Park Royal and the Central line will take you straight into central London. The best way to pay is usually with contactless or Oyster. Have a read of our contactless and Oyster pages and it will tell you all about how to do it
Christie Steps leading from Picc Line platform to street level, are there handrails? if so, are they located either side of steps, or just one handrail in the middle? Thanks :)
Staff Hi Christie. Here's a photo of the stairs - onedrive.live.com/?cid=A8CD562648484527&id=A8CD562648484527%21602&parId=A8CD562648484527%2110984&o=OneUp
Christie Thank you Staff. Is there a 'Gap' / 'Step' between the Platform and Piccadilly line Tube?
