Moorgate entrance – The Moorfields westside entrance and the booking hall are on the level, but you must use three flights of stairs from all the other entrances (8 steps down +9 steps down +8 steps down from Moorfields eastside and Moorgate westside, or 13 steps down +6 steps down +10 steps down from Moorgate eastside). After that you must use an escalator plus one flight of stairs to the Northern line platforms (20 steps down), or five flights of stairs to the westbound Circle/​H&C /​Metropolitan platforms (14 steps down +17 steps down +8 steps up +9 steps up +10 steps up), but the eastbound Circle eastbound/​H&C/​Metropolitan platforms are on the level. If you came from the Moorfields westside entrance then you will have an extra three flights of stairs to the platforms (7 steps down +16 steps down +7 steps down)

Stamford Brook exit – You must use four flights of stairs between the platforms and the exit (15 steps down +16 steps down +10 steps down +4 steps down to the eastbound platform, and 15 steps down +2x13 steps down +4 steps down to the westbound platform)
