Mansion House entrance – You must use two flights of stairs from the Garlick Hill entrance and the booking hall (9 steps down +15 steps down), or two flights from the Queen Victoria Street westside entrance (9 steps down +15 steps down), or two flights from the Queen Victoria Street/Cannon Street northside entrance (20 steps down +4 steps down), or three flights from the Queen Victoria Street/Cannon Street southside entrance (7 steps down +12 steps down +4 steps down), or three flights from the Bow Lane entrance (13 steps down +12 steps down +4 steps down). After that you must two flights of stairs down to the westbound platform (6 steps down +17 steps down), or three flights to the eastbound platform (21 steps down +11 steps down +12 steps down)
Changing trains at West Ham – There’s are two lifts when changing between the DLR/Jubilee/H&C line platforms
Changing trains at Canary Wharf – You must use an escalator, a lift, and walk 200 metres outside to change between the DLR and Jubilee platforms
South Quay exit – There’s a lift between the platforms and the exit. If you want to avoid the lift then you can use four flights of stairs (2x16 steps down +6 steps down +16 steps down)

For Oyster and contactless off-peak is outside the hours of 6.30 AM-9.30 AM and 4 PM-7 PM (Mon-Fri). For travelcards it’s any time after 9.30 AM (Mon-Fri). Weekends are always classed as off-peak.
The fare is based on what time your journey begins. It doesn’t matter when it ends.
