Maida Vale entrance – You must use two flights of stairs and an escalator from the entrance to platforms (19 steps down +7 steps down). If you want to avoid the escalator then you can use another four flights of stairs (4x16 steps down)
Changing trains at Paddington – You must use stairs when changing between the Bakerloo, Circle/District and H&C platforms
Moorgate exit – You must use an escalator plus one flight of stairs from the Northern line platforms to the booking hall (20 steps up), or five flights of stairs from the westbound Circle/H&C /Metropolitan platforms (10 steps down +9 steps down +8 steps down +14 steps up +17 steps up), but the eastbound Circle eastbound/H&C/Metropolitan platforms are on the level. If you came from the Moorfields westside entrance then you will have an extra three flights of stairs to the platforms (7 steps down +16 steps down +7 steps down). For Oyster and contactless off-peak is outside the hours of 6.30 AM-9.30 AM and 4 PM-7 PM (Mon-Fri). For travelcards it’s any time after 9.30 AM (Mon-Fri). Weekends are always classed as off-peak.
The fare is based on what time your journey begins. It doesn’t matter when it ends.
