After that you must use an escalator down to the platforms. If you want to avoid the escalator then you can use eight flights of stairs (3 steps down +7x17 steps down)

Ladbroke Grove station exit – You must use four flights of stairs between the platforms and the exit (14 steps down +13 steps down +10 steps down +5 steps down from the eastbound platform, and 7 steps down +19 steps down +10 steps down +5 steps down from the westbound platform)
