From the Elephant & Castle northside entrance you must use a lift plus four flights of stairs to the Northern line southbound platform (20 steps down +18 steps up +5 steps down +20 steps up), or a lift plus three flights of stairs to the Northern line northbound platform (20 steps down +18 steps up +15 steps up), or a lift plus one flight of stairs to the Bakerloo line platforms (20 steps down)

Moorgate station exit – You must use an escalator plus one flight of stairs from the Northern line platforms to the booking hall (20 steps up), or five flights of stairs from the westbound Circle/​H&C /​Metropolitan platforms (10 steps down +9 steps down +8 steps down +14 steps up +17 steps up), but the eastbound Circle eastbound/​H&C/​Metropolitan platforms are on the level. If you came from the Moorfields westside entrance then you will have an extra three flights of stairs to the platforms (7 steps down +16 steps down +7 steps down).
