Based on John Carney's beloved coming-of-age film, Sing Street is a joyful new musical set in Dublin during the early 1980s that tells the story of a teenager who just can't catch a break.

Conor's parents are always fighting and he hates his new Catholic school... until he meets the wannabe model Raphina. In a desperate effort to impress her, Conor asks her to star in his band's new music video. The only problem is he doesn't have a band... yet.

So he enlists a group of nerdy teenage dreamers and sets about trying to win her affection through his tunes and heartfelt lyrics.

Sing Street is an ode to young love and the power of music to lift us up, and boasts an uplifting soundtrack of songs that embrace the new wave sounds of the 80s.
