Cirque du Soleil will be celebrating their 40th birthday with a return to the Royal Albert Hall.

Corteo is their most joyous and jubilant show yet, and revolves around the clown Mauro watching his own funeral taking place in a carnival-like atmosphere.

Overseen by angels, revelers are celebrating his life with a fantastic parade that combines the silly with the tragic, fantasy with reality, and the magic of perfection with the charm of imperfection.

The Royal Albert Hall's unique staging creates an intimate experience that emphasises Mauro's vulnerability whilst highlighting the humanity that exists in all of us.

Aerial acrobatics and circus stunts

First shown in 2005, the world-renowned troupe have performed this show for over 10 million people.

Filled from start to finish with jaw-dropping stunts, you'll see acrobats swinging from chandeliers that float over the audience, a energetic fight that fires the artists high into the sky, huge balloons that lift Mauro over his dreams, children bouncing on gigantic beds and trampolines, and circus stunts with ladders, clubs, cords and rings.
