The National Army Museum will be putting on a special exhibition that explores how Shakespeare has shaped the way we think about soldiers and the army.
Shakespeare's plays are full of dramatic battles, and the stories often taken on greater meaning when Britain enters into a real-world conflict.
Shakespeare's words have helped to inspire both soldiers and civilians alike, rallying the nation in times of crisis, and helping its people face adversity on the battlefield and at home.
The exhibition will use objects and records from the Civil War all the way up to the present day, exploring how his famous plays have shaped our attitudes both past and present.
