Treat yourself to a 35-minute helicopter flight over the Surrey countryside and London's landmarks.

Robinson R44 & Airbus EC120 helicopters

EBG Helicopters usually fly a Robinson R44 helicopter because it provides all three passengers with a window seat, but they also make use of the Airbus EC120. These ones give the passenger in the center seat a great view out of the front windscreen, whilst the other two will be seated beside a window.

Your 35-minute flight will pass over the Surrey countryside and the M25 towards the Heathrow control zone. You'll then meet the River Thames at Barnes and head into central London.

This is where things will get really exciting, because your pilot will follow the route of the river at roughly the same height as the The Shard, offering breathtaking views of the London Eye, Houses of Parliament, St. Paul's Cathedral, Buckingham Palace and Tower Bridge.

Keep your eyes open and you should easily make out Nelson's Column, HMS Belfast and the Tower of London, before casting your eyes towards the skyscrapers at Canary Wharf.

As you're flying along and taking it all in, your pilot will be talking to air traffic control and providing you with some helpful commentary so you don't miss any of the sights.

What happens in bad weather?

The flight will only go ahead in suitable weather conditions. If the weather takes a turn for the worse on the day then you'll be offered an alternative date as a replacement.
