London Drum

Scavenger hunt – Self-guided tour of London’s landmarks

This event has been cancelled

Enjoy an interactive game that's part-scavenger hunt and part-walking tour around ten of London's most famous landmarks.

Starting outside Westminster station, the game will begin once you've downloaded a mobile app onto your phone from Apple's App Store or the Google Play Store, and logged in with the details you'll be given after purchase.

After that you're completely on your own. There's no guide in this tour, you can play the game at your own pace and admire the landmarks and attractions as you go, stopping for a coffee or lunch any time you like.

The app will guide you to a famous location and then you'll have to use all your powers of logic, observation and imagination to solve a riddle and unlock the next location.

By the time you've completed the game you will have seen lots of famous places like Big Ben, Parliament and Westminster Abbey, and walked through the beautiful St. James's Park to Buckingham Palace.

You'll also pass through Admiralty Arch into Trafalgar Square to see Nelson's Column and the National Gallery.

How long does the scavenger hunt take?

You can complete the entire 3-mile walk in about an hour, but you should factor in some extra time if you'd like to visit any of the places along the way (entry fees are not included).

It's a great way to do some sightseeing whilst having fun with your friends, trying to decipher the clues and discover some interesting facts about the city.
