Brace yourselves Sisters! The smash-hit comedy Sister Act is making a heavenly return to the West End.
When the larger-than-life disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder she's forced into witness protection disguised as a nun. Surely nobody will find her hiding in a convent?
Life under the watchful eye of Mother Superior isn't easy, but when Deloris introduces the strait-laced nuns to disco she helps them find their voices... and rediscovers her own.
With a star-studded West End cast
The lead role of Deloris Van Cartier will be shared by two music superstars: Beverly Knight (until the 8th June 2024) and Alexandra Burke (from the 10th June 2024). Mother Superior will be played by Ruth Jones from TV's Gavin & Stacey (until the 8th June 2024).
There will also be appearances by BRIT Award-winner Lemar, Britain's Got Talent star Alison Jiear, and Lesley Joseph from TV's Birds Of A Feather.
A soundtrack of Motown-inspired songs
It's a hilarious and heart-warming tale about the beauty of friendship, sisterhood and music, featuring a soundtrack of Motown-inspired songs by the Tony Award-winning composer Alan Menken, belted out by two of the West End's biggest soul queens.
